Akshom Hospital has an Review Board (IRB). The IRB ensures that the rights and well-being of patients are adequately protected.

The Review Board is charged with reviewing all studies involving patients for compliance with both Akshom Institutional policies and with National, state, and local laws. The IRB also ensures that all studies comply with the ethical principles such as respect for people, beneficence and justice.

In general, an Review Board is a committee charged by the Govt. of India with protecting the rights and welfare of patients.
